Ayutthaya, worth a couple of days if you are in Bangkok

(July 2012) - If you are planning on  visiting Bangkok, Thailand - perhaps on your way to Vietnam - in the near future, a trip to Ayutthaya is worth a couple of days. Hanoi water puppeteer invites Footprint to his home

 (July 2012) - A few weeks ago we were invited into the home of water puppeteer, Mr. Liem. Ms. Hien, who has been working on a few new tours and products to offer Footprint Vietnam Travel clients and guests, was the one who went on behalf of Footprint. She was intro ducted to Mr. Lien and his family, learned about water puppets, and had a private water puppet show! Mr. Lien, comes from a long family line of water puppet makers and puppeteers. Watch our garden grow!

(July 2012) - To make the Footprint office a little more green, a few of us at Footprint decided to get our hands a little dirty in our balcony garden. Taking the afternoon off we went shopping at a local area know for plants. We bought a few different types of hardy succulents and taller, leafy options, and headed back to the office. Vietnam Tour company disgusted by animal abuse photos

(July 2012) - Footprint Vietnam Travel is a responsible tour operator that has been running trips throughout Vietnam of over 11 years now. Today, as we sat in the office and looked at the pictures (now posted everywhere on the internet) of the recent animal torture in Vietnam, we were disgusted! New trekking video by Footprint featuring Sapa

(July 2012) - A new video featuring trekking in Sapa has just been produced and released by responsible tour operator, Footprint Vietnam Travel. The video (shown below) which showcases the company's 3-day trekking tour to Taphin village was filmed and recorded by Kyle Sandilands. The guests featured in the video was a group of college students from Canada who took part in a tailor-made volunteer tour. Footprint R & D trip

(July 2012) - Co-founder and product development manager Mr. Thanh and travel consultant Ms. Hoa have been exploring some off the beaten track destinations in Vietnam's north. The pair, from Footprint Vietnam Travel have taken two days to do the mission which has taken them to some incredibly scenic areas of the country. The areas they have explored are virtually untouched by tourists. They offer fantastic views of imposing geography, opportunities to meet with friendly ethnic minority villages, and a plethora of outdoor soft adventure options. Footprint works with communities to plan volunteer school trips to Vietnam

  (July 2012) - Starting in mid-July Footprint Vietnam Travel is expecting three large groups of student-vuolunteer-adventurers. The groups are all from UK high schools. As the arrival date nears, Mr. Thanh, Footprint's co-founder and product development manager, visits the remote villages the school groups plan to visit. It has taken the better part of two days for Mr. Thanh to travel to the ethnic minorities villages. Located in Mai Chau, Pu Luong, and Moc Chau, some of the areas are not accessible by car. Beat the Hanoi heat at Hanoi’s water park

(July 2012) - Summer in Hanoi continues to heat up. With no sure estimate of when it will begin to cool down - courtesy of climate change - finding ways to beat the heat has never been so important.  (June 2012) - The idea of using icons to promote travel has been adopted by local travel company, Footprint Vietnam Travel. For the last few months a creative team has been employed to create a series of icons to be used on the company's website and marketing material to make it easier for clients and partners to learn about Vietnam travel and Vietnam destinations.
