(June 2012) – The last few months have been a busy time at Footprint Vietnam Travel, and much of it has all been recorded on video. Although there is no release date for the bloopers and outtakes video scheduled yet, there is a set of 5 brand new, very inspiring videos that are ready. Kyle Sandilands is the film maker behind the magic of the new Footprint videos.
Kyle has been in Vietnam for three months. This is his second time back to Vietnam. His first taste of the country was when he volunteered to create short video documentaries for a Capilano University – PATA Foundation tourism training project, also known as CBT Vietnam.
Kyle has shot on location in Cuba, Laos, China, Japan, and Canada. His resume includes working on Hollywood films such as Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Mortal Kombat, Big Year, Gunless, and Fido. He also worked at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. To learn more about Kyle you can go to his website. You should also check out his demo reel here:

For Footprint, he has put together a series of 5 videos promoting the company. The videos were shot on location with real Footprint clients and guests, actually taking part in the tours. The set of five includes an overall video to tell people about the responsible tour company, a cycling video, a trekking video, a video about Footprint’s Ha Long and Bai Tu Long Bay tours, as well as a video about Footprint’s educational and volunteer tours.
The hope is that the videos will add value to the travel planning process. The videos are shot to inspire travellers, and to show the beauty of Vietnam. They are also meant to entice people to try something new on their trips, like cycling or volunteering.
